Peech analyzes the content of your video and automatically adds subtitles in the spoken language. You can design and manage subtitles in the subtitle section, found on the left hand side of the Visual Editor.
How to edit the subtitles of your video?
In the Subtitles section you can see your video's subtitles, split by timecodes
To make changes to the subtitles, you have two options:
Edit in the Left Menu: In the left menu of the Subtitles section, you can find an editing interface where you can modify the text, timing, and formatting of the subtitles. Simply select the subtitle you want to edit and make the necessary changes using the provided tools and options.
Edit in the Monitor Itself: Alternatively, you can edit the subtitles directly in the video monitor. By clicking on a specific subtitle displayed in the video monitor, you can edit its content, timing, and formatting. This allows for a more visual and intuitive editing experience.
How to combine two subtitles into one
To merge or combine two subtitles together, you can utilize a simple keyboard shortcut. Here's how:
Locate the two subtitles that you wish to merge within the Subtitles section.
In the second subtitle, click on the starting point of the text.
Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard.
The selected subtitle will be moved, and its content will be merged with the subtitle that precedes it.
How to split one subtitle into two separate sections
To separate or split two combined subtitles into individual ones, you can follow these steps:
Locate the subtitle that you want to split within the Subtitles section.
Identify the point where the two subtitles should be separated.
Click on the starting point of the text at the desired split location.
Press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
The merged subtitle will be split into two separate subtitles, each with its own text content.
